Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation

Bookings for workshops are only confirmed once full payment is received, cleared and a receipt for payment has been issued.

Cancellations

Please note that Steve Sheddick Photography reserves the right to cancel a workshop at any time, where there are insufficient numbers, adverse or unsuitable weather conditions, or personal illness. In the event of this occurring all moneys paid will be refunded or carried over to future workshops.

All moneys paid for workshops are non-refundable but can be transferred to future workshops.

Personal Loss

While participating in these workshops every care will be taken to provide a safe and enjoyable environment at all times. However, Steve Sheddick Photography accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items or equipment and this remains the responsibility of the individual at all times. On accepting these terms, it is also considered that each participant is of good health and must notify us prior to the workshop if not the case to access suitability. We accept no responsibility for personal injury, or death while participating in these workshops.

Event Changes

These workshops are carried out across various locations, which we check beforehand to ensure their suitability and safety. However, we reserve the right to make any last minute changes to the locations, time frames, or structure of the course if the integrity of the event or safety of the participants becomes apparent.

Landscape Workshops

The locations for these workshops are carefully selected to ensure ease of access via designated tracks or stairs and usually involve a moderate degree of walking. A moderate degree of fitness and mobility is required to participate in these workshops.

The following equipment is required to complete these workshops.

  • A Digital Camera with manual mode and interchangeable lenses
  • Wide Angle Lens – ranging from 16 to 35mm
  • A very Study Tripod
  • Filters – Polarizer, ND filter, Graduated ND #
  • Cable Release
  • Appropriate clothing ( warm clothing, wet weather gear, head wear)
  • Suitable footwear for bushwalking/wet rocks

# Note; ND Filters are not required for all workshops.

Portrait Workshops

These workshops are usually at one outdoor location, so walking is at a minimum. However, mobility and general fitness would still be
advisable. Where applicable all specialist equipment such as Speedlight’s, and Light Stands will be provided by Steve Sheddick Photography.

The Following equipment is required to complete these workshops;

  • A Digital Camera with manual mode, interchangeable lenses, Hot Shoe mount
  • Portrait Lens -ranging from 50mm to 120mm
